Green technologies are now central to the future of all industrial sectors. Companies are working towards carbon-neutral targets and embracing eco-friendly practices to achieve this. The transport sector has invested significant resources into exploring sustainable alternatives to fossil fuels. This has resulted in Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) creating a wide range of hybrid, electric, and fuel-cell vehicles.
This has changed the commercial landscape with many firms switching to green alternatives for their transport needs. Companies see these vehicles as an effective way of enhancing brand reputation and operational efficiency while mitigating the impact of their business activities. Bus and truck markets in particular are focusing on electrifying their fleets.
The manufacturing supply chain has also been impacted by ancillary components needing to be redesigned or replaced with new solutions. The TX01 air compressor is a prime example. This product has been specifically designed for electric bus and truck markets.
We have been involved in several projects to enhance the TX01’s product visualisation through 3D animation. We were initially approached to create various 3D model adaptations while the original concept evolved. We then needed to develop them into videos to showcase the air compressor’s inner workings and promote the overall solution.

Covering all physical aspects of this solution with our 3D animation was crucial. We created several 3D renders from different angles as they were to be used in a large range of promotional literature. This consisted of various close-ups, external images, and an exploder image to detail the internal components of the air compressor.
We then applied these 3D renders as the foundation for a rotating video of the product. We used an exploding animation to pull the design apart and display the inner workings of the air compressor. The video then showed the TX01’s internal spigot in operation through a close-up with further rotation.
The product visualisation project was then developed into a full-length promotional video. The 3D animation of the rotating air compressor and its inner workings was incorporated into the final marketing video. We then augmented it with further information about the TX01, the manufacturer, and the need for sustainable transport solutions.
We combined functions from Cinema 4D and Adobe After Effects software tools to assemble the 3D and video content. We focused on creating high-quality images and animations to highlight the air compressor’s features and benefits, which promoted the product as a viable solution.

These 3D animations successfully enhanced the product visualisation of the TX01. The 3D renders highlighted the air compressor’s external aesthetics and internal features in a clear and impactful way. The videos took this to the next stage by illustrating how the product worked and adding technical details.
The final promotional video connected with target audiences through powerful storytelling. It explained the origins of the TX01 and how it evolved from 50 years of mobile applications and new vehicle technologies. The video also highlighted the rising demand for cutting-edge ancillary components and their contribution to current and future OEM electric transport solutions.
Installation of the air compressor was covered with the video illustrating where the product could be fitted on relevant vehicles. The design’s reliability, easy maintenance, lightweight package, and vibration-free operation were also highlighted as benefits. Features were elaborated on with detailed information such as flow rates, pressure ranges, and voltage options.
Customer needs are evolving in line with industry requirements to cut carbon emissions and work towards net zero targets. OEMs and operators are under pressure to meet these demands. Our 3D renders and videos have highlighted these concerns and successfully promoted the TX01 as part of the solution.
